2019 Thanksgiving Arts Camp

The Lake Wales Arts Council is excited to hold the 2019 Thanksgiving Arts Camp. Enroll your student today for two fun-filled days of music, pottery, painting, and digital arts. All classes will be Thanksgiving-themed and will allow students to explore the story of the first Thanksgiving through the fine arts. All supplies are included with the price of enrollment.

Pertinent Information

• Ages:

  • 6 - 11

  • 5 y/o can be enrolled on a case-by-case basis (call the Lake Wales Arts Center for more information)

• Dates:

  • November 25th - 26th

• Times:

  • 9 AM - 9:30 AM - Student Drop Off

  • 9:30 AM - 4 PM - Classes (students will take ALL classes offered)

  • 4 PM - 4:30 PM - Student Pickup

• Classes Offered:

  • Painting & Drawing - mediums include sketching, acrylic, and watercolor

  • Pottery - mediums include slab and coil

  • Music - general music education, including choir, guitar, drums, etc

  • Digital Arts - graphic design, photography, and 3d printing (iPads provided!)
