Anna Calluori Holcombe, Professor Emeritus of Ceramics at the University of Florida in Gainesville, is a luminary in the world of ceramic arts. With an illustrious career spanning decades, Calluori Holcombe has left an indelible mark on the field. Her journey includes a Master's in Fine Arts and a profound dedication to mentoring emerging artists. Renowned for her innovative techniques and mastery of the potter's wheel, Calluori Holcombe's work has been exhibited nationally and internationally. As an influential educator, she has shaped the next generation of ceramic artists, leaving an enduring legacy in the vibrant tapestry of the Gainesville arts community and beyond.

 

Tony Palms recently retired from his position of Exhibitions Coordinator at the USF Contemporary Art Museum in Tampa, Florida. With a passion for designing thought-provoking exhibits, Tony bought a wealth of expertise to the role. Armed with a Bachelor’s of Fine Arts with focus on Painting and years of hands-on experience in the art world, he seamlessly blends artistic vision with logistical prowess. Known for his meticulous attention to detail, Tony ensures each exhibition is a captivating visual journey for visitors. His commitment to showcasing diverse and innovative contemporary art has made the USF Contemporary Art Museum a thriving hub for artistic exploration under his insightful designs. Currently, he writes art reviews for Creative Pinellas’s Arts Coast Magazine.

From Orlando: Take I-4 West to US-27 South. US-27 South is approximately 25 miles from W. Central Avenue (Woody’s and McDonald’s on the southeast corner). Turn left onto W. Central Avenue continuing for approximately 1 mile ending at Lakeshore Blvd. and the shores of Lake Wailes.

From Tampa: Take I-4 East to US-27 South. US-27 South is approximately 25 miles from W. Central Avenue (Woody’s and McDonald’s on the southeast corner). Turn left onto W. Central Avenue continuing for approximately 1 mile ending at Lakeshore Blvd. and the shores of Lake Wailes.

From Vero Beach: Take SR-60 West to US-27 North. Turn right (north) onto US-27 then immediately turn right (east) onto W. Central Avenue (Woody’s, McDonalds on the southeast corner) continuing for approximately 1 mile ending at Lakeshore Blvd. and the shores of Lake Wailes.

From Sebring: Take SR-27 North to W. Central Avenue. Turn right (east) onto W. Central Avenue (Woody’s, McDonalds on the southeast corner) continuing for approximately 1 mile ending at Lakeshore Blvd. and the shores of Lake Wailes.
